As many as 15 yellow tabebuia trees were planted by West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency at Jakarta Provincial Government's land, Alfa Indah Housing Complex, RT 01/07, Joglo Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, Friday (2/2).
It is hoped more trees will make our air cleaner
Kembangan Sub-district Head, Joko Suparno, admitted the planting was done at 1,124 square meter land in form of Friday Planting program.
"The planting is also run to support clear air and secure Jakarta Provincial Government's asset," he said.
PPSU Undertakes Arrangements at Indah Kelapa Beach RTHWest Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Romy Sidharta, admitted Friday Planting program is routinely held every week. Today e plant 15 trees at the complex.
"It is hoped more trees will make our air cleaner," he said.
Adrian Ramli (67), local resident admitted happy with the planting program.
